Yogi Goswami, a distinguished professor at ±«Óãtv College of Engineering, has been named president-elect of the Academy of Science, Engineering & Medicine of Florida (ASEMFL). A leader in solar energy, sustainable technologies, and energy storage, Goswami directs ±«Óãtv's Clean Energy Research Center. His appointment enhances ±«Óãtv's role in driving innovation, interdisciplinary research, and energy solutions in Florida.

Norma A. Alcantar was featured by ±«Óãtv Technology Transfer to discuss her patented technologies using cactus mucilage for filtering contaminants from freshwater to provide clean drinking water, to novel therapies for Alzheimer's disease and treatments cancer tumor cells.
