From swimmer to soldier: the public health journey of Lt. Col. Sean Beeman

And being a competitive swimmer in high school gave him the jumpstart to join the Navy and serve as a search and rescue swimmer for 14 years, which eventually led him down a lifelong path of military service and public health.
