As Conference and Events Planner at GNSI, I work with a team to plan and execute events,
focusing on the logistical details and setup processes. I manage speakers, book venues,
and make sure every detail contributes to a successful experience. We organize annual
conferences and individual speaker events on topics related to national security.
I have been interested in event planning since I was young, when I enjoyed organizing
themed parties for friends and family. That passion led me to study Event Management
and Marketing in college. Since then, I have held roles in event planning, sales,
and social media, gaining experience in both creative and logistical aspects of the
field.
Flast back to 10 years old: What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian because I've always loved animals.
I soon realized being a vet wasn't just about playing with puppies all day!
What's the most "interesting" thing you've done that not many people know about?
After graduating from college, I lived in Florence, Italy, for eight months. I worked
in sales for a travel company, which gave me the opportunity to visit 10 different
countries!
Favorite musician, genre of music?
I'm a big fan of pop music. Artists like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Lady
Gaga are some of my favorites. I also enjoy indie and alternative music.
Where are you originally from? What was your first job?
I was born and raised here, in Tampa, Florida! My first job was as a Summer Camp Counselor
while I was in high school.
Books you're currently reading?
I'm revisiting The Hunger Games series. I never finished it when I was younger, and
with the new movies and books coming out, it felt like the right time to pick it up
again.
Favorite sport, team, athlete or "thing" you could be President of the Fan Club?
I would definitely consider myself a beauty guru! I'm always up to date with the latest
beauty trends, brands, and iconic names in the industry. I even have a designer perfume
collection. I think everyone should pamper themselves!
Finish this sentence: On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me...
Sleeping in as late as physically possible, then waking up to enjoy my morning coffee
at 1 PM. Jokes aside, I love spending Sundays relaxing outdoors or hanging out with
friends and family before getting ready for the week ahead.
