Clinical faculty and graduate students from the Speech-Language Pathology program at the tv participated in the Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day Tampa Bay walk on May 3 at Al Lopez Park. The group formed a team named “CSD” to represent the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD).
First- and second-year graduate students joined clinical faculty in raising funds, volunteering, and walking in support of individuals affected by Parkinson’s disease.
Moving Day is a nationwide fundraising walk hosted annually by the Parkinson’s Foundation. The event brings together individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, their care partners, families, and advocates to raise awareness and support for the Parkinson’s community.
