Lindsay Peterson, PhD, an assistant research professor in the School of Aging Studies, has been selected to participate in a statewide team science project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The aim of the project is to combine researchers in diverse disciplines (geology, anthropology, engineering, gerontology, etc.) who all have an interest in disaster resilience, with an overall goal of developing projects that incorporate their diverse skills and perspectives. The principal investigator of this NSF project is Melanie Bauer of Nova Southeastern.
