Cassidy Doyle, a third-year PhD student in the School of Aging Studies, spoke to Ms. Fernandez’s ninth grade multicultural studies class at Leto High School as part of the Great American Teach-In. Doyle discussed her experiences as a first-generation college student, how and why she chose to pursue higher education, and what it means to be a social science researcher.
